Kordes is a family-owned enterprise company  with over 70 years of tradition. The Managing Directors Christian and Sebastian Kordes are the third generation in

business management. The sewage treatment plants are produced for national and international customers, with modern production premises and permanent staff of experienced associates. We thrive towards high responsibility for the environment and a high quality standard.

The roots of the company are in Vlotho, a little locality in the area of Weserbergland in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany. In 1935 Willy Kordes founded a company for construction material trading with an annexed concrete production site. In 1936 Kordes had increased the working staff up to 5 people.

The company had a steady development and the staff had reached 20 people.

In the meanwhile the company had a strong regional relevance and it was specialised in the production of concrete pipes and also small sewage treatment plants.

The intensified growing demand for Kordes products requested greater production capacities, so that in 1968 under the new leadership of Willi Kordes jr. a new factory

was build in Uffeln, a district of Vlotho.

Still nowadays fundamental impulses are propagating from this headquarter.

About from 1985 it was essential to expand the sector R&D, research and development.

It was foreseeable that in order to be more successful in sales in the product range sewage- and resaw technology, pump-stations and rain water utilisation, it was necessary to introduce innovative products in the market and to provide the engineering company, offices, architects, specialised trade, building companies and the licensing authority with correspondent documentation.

We plan and realise individual customer demands, hence whatever we do, our highest target is and  always will be to your satisfaction, which goes hand in hand with our success.

The highest priority the service sector has, beside the production, is that all Kordes products must perform theier duty for decades. Thousands of pumps, compressors, control boxes and devices and other technology come into operation every day.

Production and Sales take place in our own plant and annexed sales offices with regional sales managers

and dealers worldwide.
